Analytics

basiscalc.xyz uses a self-hosted instance of Umami at analytics.basiscalc.xyz. Umami sets no cookies, does no browser fingerprinting, and collects no personally identifying information. IP addresses are hashed with a daily-rotating salt before being used to derive a visit hash, so returning visitors cannot be linked across days and raw IPs are never stored.

Third parties

The email signup form posts directly to Buttondown over HTTPS; your address is handled under Buttondown's own privacy policy. Affiliate links to GMX and Hyperliquid are plain outbound links — once you click, you are on those venues and their terms and privacy policies apply.

Opting out

The analytics script respects the DNT (Do Not Track) header and will not fire when it is set. Brave and Firefox private windows block the tracker by default. You can also block analytics.basiscalc.xyz directly in your network filter, ad blocker, or hosts file — the site will continue to work normally with zero degradation.
